SNSD’s Sooyoung recently suffered from a sacrovertebral fracture injury in a car accident but is quickly recovering.
On September 26, a source for SNSD said, “Thankfully, her injury was nothing serious and she has strong will to continue to perform with the rest of the members. She will be involved in activities as she progressively recovers.”
Sooyoung was involved in a car accident on August 28 at Gyeongbu Expressway. She was not able to perform both at the SMTOWN LIVE in Tokyo which was held from September 2 to 4, and at SNSD’s live concert in Taiwan which was held from September 10 to 11.
Sooyoung recuperated speedily as she took some rest, and she is now able to practice for their performances with the rest of the group members.
A source for SNSD says, “Sooyoung is looking after herself well and plans to participate in dance practices until the next performance.”
On October 4, SNSD plans to release their third album The Boys on various music sites and iTunes, and have activities involving the new album on their schedule.
